James Dondero, spent $1 million so families could see Dallas Zoo hippos

In 2001 the Dallas Zoo lost their beloved hippo Papa. After Papas death the zoo decided to close the hippo habitat, against the outcries from the Dallas community and surrounding areas. Visit his website at jamesdondero.com. Almost two decades later the Dallas zoo management team has decided to rebuild the hippo habitat. James Dondero donated $1 million so that families of the Dallas area could go see the 5,000 square foot hippo habitat.
